On 19 October, Panama’s Ministry of Economy and Finance announced that Moody’s Ratings had assigned provisional ratings of P-3 to the Treasury Bills programme and Baa3 to the Treasury Notes programme. The ratings are intended to support investor access to the country’s domestic public-debt market.
Banks, investors and financial advisers can assess opportunities in debt-market analysis, treasury management and investment-risk services. The ratings announcement did not disclose a new advisory contract value.
